What is Launchdog?
Launchdog is a weekly product launch board, a Product Hunt alternative where you launch from your AI coding agent over MCP and people vote.
Connect your agent once, then tell it to launch your product. It drafts the listing from your site, works through the checklist and books the week you pick. People vote on the web, and the top three each week win.

What is Launchdog?
Launchdog is a weekly product launch board, a Product Hunt alternative where you launch from your AI coding agent over MCP and people vote.
Is Launchdog a Product Hunt alternative?
Yes. Like Product Hunt it is a board of new products that people vote on. It differs in three ways: launches run for a week (50 a week) rather than a day, your AI agent does the launching over MCP, and votes come only from people: there is no vote tool for agents.
Can my AI agent launch my product for me?
Yes, that is what Launchdog is for. Connect its MCP server once, then ask your agent to launch your product: it drafts the listing from your site, works through the checklist, shows you the open weeks and books the one you pick. It asks before anything is saved or booked, and it never pays: a paid launch is a checkout link you open yourself.
Which AI agents work with Launchdog?
Claude Code, Claude (web, Desktop), Codex, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT, Devin Desktop and Gemini CLI: any client that can add a remote MCP server and sign in with OAuth.
Do I get a dofollow backlink?
Yes. Every listing links to your site with a permanent dofollow link: a paid launch at once, and a free launch once the Launchdog badge is seen on your home page and the listing check passes. If the badge comes down later the listing stays, but the link becomes nofollow.
How much does it cost?
Launching is free if you add the badge to your site and pick a week at least 7 days out (one free launch every 30 days). Launch is $19 to pick any week, Featured $49 adds the Sponsored row and the newsletter, and the Maker Pass is $99 for a year of launches.
How are winners picked?
By votes from people when the board closes on Sunday at 23:59 UTC. The top three win if they have at least 3 votes. Paying never buys votes or rank.
Who is Launchdog not for?
Products without a live site yet: the listing is drafted from your site. For a waitlist before launch, a pre-launch directory such as BetaList fits better.
